Do I need an OBD2 scanner or adapter?

No. Car Whisperer works from what you can hear, see, film and describe. It does not plug into your car, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to connect.

Can it read or clear my check engine light code?

No. Reading and clearing stored codes needs a scan tool in the OBD2 port. Most large US auto parts stores read codes for free. If you have a code, add it to your description together with what you hear and see.

How fast do I get an answer?

In seconds, while you wait. There is no appointment and no report sent later.

Which cars does it know?

393 makes and 3,920 models. You can save up to three cars. There is no account and no password.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. Car Whisperer is on iPhone only. Join the Android waitlist and we will let you know.
